Simple luxury
The main bedroom has two beds that can be made up as a super-king double.
The second bedroom can be used twin-bedded, or if preferred laid out with
one bed and a desk so that it can be used as a retreat for working or
writing. There is a well-equipped bathroom (bath, shower and w.c.) and a
utility room that contains a second toilet. Lighting, curtains, blinds, beds and
attractive flooring were all acquired just a few
years ago, as is much of the equipment. For winter
there is a wood-burning stove in the living room and ample heaters in the
bathroom. Constant hot water is provided by electricity.
There is a large garage, one side of which has been separated and converted
into a furnished and carpeted room in which extra visitors or children could
sleep out. There are power points in case heating is needed. In addition to
the garage there is ample off-road parking space. The garden has been
landscaped and includes a SE facing patio which gets the late afternoon
summer sun. The owners are happy to have the garden professionally looked
after and simply invite visitors to water plants in pots or planters in
times of drought.
