The house is 5 minutes' walk down to the store, takeaway and beach at Ruby Bay, 3 minutes drive from Mapua, 15 minutes from Motueka and Richmond, about 30 minutes from central Nelson and Kaiteriteri for the Abel Tasman National Park. There are good shops, restaurants, wineries, boat trips and sports facilities all within easy reach; but if you sometimes just want to relax in the sun and look at the view from the splendid deck from breakfast-time on, then that is what this house is all about.
