I've personally been taking photographs since I was 11 years old and inherited a 35mm SLR from my father. Living through the transition of negative film, black and white and then colour slide to digital image capture has been expensive and a sometimes traumatic affair.

Scanning prints, negatives and slides to get them into digital format for use in websites has been painfully slow so I was jubulent when digital cameras became affordable and the removal of the 'middle step' finally occured.

I have built up my own library of images over the years, many of which end up on the websites I build.
