Pictures are memory intensive. There is always a trade off between picture quality and file size. Each gallery is less than 100Kb in size and contains eight images, when all images have downloaded entirely they can be clicked to appear in the larger display window. If your browser has Javascript enabled, a caption for each image will appear when you hover your mouse pointer over it.
